The Ruiter Valley Land Trust (RVLT) is actively engaged in the protection of plant and wildlife habitats in the Ruiter Valley, which is located in the Sutton Mountains, Québec. Since its creation in 1987, this trust has established a 9000-acres (4500 ha) conservation area.
